r1r. Sloan stated that he thought the Fire Department records should be <br />kept at the Village Hall. Chief Porter agreed to transfer the records from <br />him home to the Village Hall. <br />Mr. Sloan said that he had no report to make on the dedication of any <br />new roads and s-treets. <br />Mr. Mason, Co-Chairman of the Finance Committee, stated'thati'the Gommittee <br />met on January 13, 1966. The Clerk-Treasurer then read off various funds of <br />the Finance Committee and presented the bills as of January 17, 1966. <br />. . .. ., ,..? <br />M , Mro Mason then reported that the Finance Committee had approved the Pay <br />Ordinance #509 P. It was then moved by Mr. Shaw and seconded by Mr. Wallcer, that Pay Ord'inance #569' P b'e approved and passed as read:• ' Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays'- None. <br />Motioh. carried <br />• •- Pay Ordinance Passed <br />Ordinance #931 entitled" An Ordinance to Make Temporary App"ropriation <br />f or Current and Other Expenses of the Village of Mayfield f or -the First Three <br />Months of 1966,"was introduced by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Niason, and <br />which ordinance was reaa, to Council'. NIr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, noved that the rules of law requiring <br />? <br />a resolui:ion to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />12011 Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, P4ason, Sloan & Davis. <br />-" ' 1Vays = None. Motion carried <br />- Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that Ordinance #931 be <br />approved and passed as read. <br />ltol'1 Call: Ayes - Niessrs Shaw, Busa, Wallcer, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Riotion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mrm Busa informed Council that Quigley Garbage-Disposal was behind on <br />garUage and,rubbish pick-up and that garbage cans had been sitting in front <br />of homes for two or three days. <br />Mayor Bennett informed Council that upon inspection of the Village <br />hydrants, it was f ound that most of them were f rozen. He then recommended <br />that we either, (1) purchase a burner for $425.00 or (2) purchase a fire <br />hydrant pump' for` $71'.50, The" fire hydrants' were not draining properly and ttie <br />pump would free thein of accumulated water. <br />3.
