Mayor Endress then asked wh'at Council was going to do about the Truck <br />Ordinance. Mre Belzer said that they had decided to get all the Truck Owners <br />together and see if they could come up with something, Mr. Belzer-said that <br />there was apparently a paragraph of the Ordinance:that was not'understood. Mr. <br />Zosn suggested putting it on a s'econd reading. Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. - <br />Bennett, then set June 4th at 8:00 P. M. at the Town Hall f or a meeting to <br />consider this ordinaneem <br />Roll Callz Ayes'- Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason'and Belzer. <br />Nays - Mro S1oaa. <br />Motion carried <br />Mr. Edelman then read Ordinance?Noa 766 by Mr. Sloan "An Ordinance to <br />Amend Ordinance 1Vo. 159, The Zoning Ordinanee of the Village of Mayf ield, by <br />Adding Section 7(a), in Order to Clarify the Provisions as to Parking and <br />Storage of Commercial Vehicles in Residenti.al Distsicts, and to Prohibit the <br />Same, and to Prescribe Penalties fos Violation of thisOrdinance," This <br />ordinance was then placed upon its second reading. <br />' Ordinance No, 767 by Mr. Masona"°An`Ordinance to Amend'Section 3 of <br />Ordinance No. 159, the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mayfield, as Amended <br />by Ordinances Nos, 677 and 721, by Clarifying the Meaning of the Terms °Scrap <br />Iron or Junk Storage', as a Class U-7 Prohibited UseT' was again read to Council. <br />It was moved by:Mr,.Mason, seconded by Mr: Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate bccasions be suspeiideda <br />Roll Calla Ayes -`Messrs Zorn; Wedler,' Mason; Sloan and BeTzer. <br />Nays - Mr, Bennett. Mo.tion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Masoca, seconded by Mr. Belzer; tliat Ordinance No. <br />767 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Callz Ayes - Messrs 2orn, Wedler, Mason, Sloan and Belzero <br />Nays - Mr. Bennett. ` Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Endress then asked abdut ttie house on Highland Road that was to be <br />moa?ed out of the path of the Freeway. Mr. Belzer said that he had looked at the <br />house and was i.n f avor of its being moved up one or two lots. Mr. Belzer said that <br />it would have to have a.gaxage added and thi.s should be put on bef ore-occupancy, <br />Mayor Endress said that Mr. Dumont did not feel that it qualif ied for a desirable <br />home and said that the blocks were cracked; that aluminum siding wonld not protect <br />the house from moistures that the Architectural Board had turned it down, <br />- Mro Edelman said that if a Building Permit was refused that it went to <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals, Mra Edelman then suggested writing a letter to <br />the Architectural Board and tell them of these conditions and s2e if they would <br />not approve.
