Chief-Shortle said that he was going to talk with the Sclzool Board on this <br />mattes, that they should have an older guard on the bus; that he would also <br />see about thiso Mr. Belzer said that he would have a representative of the <br />school board meet with the Safety Committee and go into this mattero <br />Mrm Belzer, seconded by Mr. Mason, then introduced a resolution <br />that the Council of the Village of Mayf ield accept the offer by Shaker Heights <br />Buick, Inc, of a Buick car to be given to the Village to use, free of charge, <br />a new 1963 Bniek car for a period of one year; they to make repairs and the <br />Village to pay for gas, oil and insurance of this car; the radio used in the <br />car to remain the property of the Village. <br />It was moved-by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mra Mason, that the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspendedo <br />RoLl Call: Ayes - Messrs.Zorn,'Bennett, riason, Slaan and Belzer, <br />Nays - rire Wedler. . <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the <br />Resolution be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs-Zosn, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays ? Mr. Wedler. <br />Motion approved <br />Resolution Passed <br />The matter of the Boundary :I,ine betwaen, Highland Heights and our <br />Vi.llage on the Freeway was then referred to Mr. Edelman, who will get in touch <br />with the Highland Heights Solicitor. <br />IKr. Wedler, reporting f or the Zoning and Planning Commission, then <br />read the Minutes of their meeting on October 6 to Councilm Mr.-Wedler said <br />that they had quite a sessiori on apartment houses and that Mr. Edelman had an <br />ordinance for Council to consider on this subject. <br />• Mr. Edelman then read this ordinance to Cotxncil and said that he <br />had worked'with the Regional Planning Commission and had them incorporate in <br />this ordinance the things that were-to be in the comprehensive plan. ris. <br />Edelnian said that we did not have anything except Aintree Park and Highrise <br />legislation and should have an ordinance to cover apartment houses. <br />Mr; Mason, seconded by Mr. Wedler, then introduced Ordinance No. <br />780, entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Certain Provisions of Ordinance No. 159, <br />the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mayf ield, Pertaining to Apartment Houses, <br />by Amending and Revising Sections 7s 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 20 <br />thereo£; and by Adding Sections 13 (a) and 16 (a), and to.Declare an Emergency", <br />which Ordinance was read to Council. <br />This Ordinance was then placed upon its.first reading. <br />It was then moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded •by Mr. Mason, that November <br />19, at 7e30 P. M. at the Town Ha].1, be set as a date for an open public hearing <br />on this ordinance. <br />3.
