Roll Call: Aqes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />This ordinance was then referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mrm Edelman said that he would put the proper advertisements in the paper. <br />Mr. Wedler then reported that, with reference to the Durrel Post matter, <br />Mr. Abendroth declared that this request would be studied by the Regional <br />Planning Commission and an Answer vould be returned as soon as possible. <br />The Finance Coffimittee having approved the Pay Ordinance, it was moved by <br />Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr.-Wedler, that Pay Ordinance Noo 471P be approved and <br />passed as read, <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. Mr. Peterson said that he did not know any <br />engineeririg to off-set this; that they were put in as deep as they could go. <br />Mayor Endress asked for a repost on this for the next meetingm <br />Mr. Sloan then said that something had been brought up at the last meeting <br />about diff iculty due to the water line crossing the road in the Worton Park <br />area and making a mess o£ it. Mr.'Peterson.said that there was no money in <br />the contract for paving the road where these crossovers had been made; that <br />the road was nof good enough to put in any asphalt patchese Mr. Mason then <br />asked how much it would cost to patch up these bad spotso rir. Peterson said <br />that the contract had done what was set up to be done and if things were not <br />githt it was on his shoulders; that the road did not warrant putting in hot <br />patches; that it would cost $1.75 a square yard or about $50.00 a piece <br />plus the amount of taking out the old stuff. <br />Mayor Endress then spoke of continuing the water main on SOM Road; that <br />one man was completely out of water with a dry well; that it did not look <br />impossible for some relief from the park property, the question being whether <br />they could be-assessede Mra Edelman said that the land would be benefitted. <br />It was thought that there would be no use in circulating petitions. Mayor <br />Endress thought that Council should ask the_Engineer to prepare plans and <br />specif ications and see.that the hydrants were set back so that.they would.not <br />have to be moved if the road was widened. <br />4.
