<br />Mr. Wedlers reporting for the Zoning and Ylanning Cammission, said that
<br />they had had a ffieeting on November 12, 1962. Mre Wedler then read the Minutes
<br />of this meeting to Coun¢il. Mr. Wedler then took up the Apartment?House
<br />Ordinance, saping that the Planning and Zoning Comuiission had reported ori
<br />ordinance No. 780 by approving with,recomffiendations as.to certain changes and
<br />had attached these ehanges to its.rePort as amendments_to ordinance No. 780.
<br />Mr. Edelffian theh read ordinance No. 780 to.Gouncil..with changes on Sections 4,
<br />5, 7, 8, 9 and 11, as submitted to theP?,anning.and Zoning.Comffiissimn and said
<br />that he thought it was in order to make a Motion to amend Ordinance No. 780,
<br />in accordance with the Planning and.2oning Comm.issioa,,so.that we would have
<br />an Affiended Ordinance to vote-.:on. It was then ffioved by Mre Wedlerm seeonded
<br />by Mr. Mason, that ordinance No. 780 be amended to conf orffi with the reeoinmendation$
<br />of the Zoafng and Planning CommissioA as to Sections 4, 5,.. '7,, 8,9i 9,and 11. Mre
<br />Wedler and Mro Mason then excluded Section 8 from thefr Motion. MayorEndress
<br />then asked for a vote.

<br />There was a great deal of discussion in Council on Section 8 as to
<br />the area size for apartments. It was £elt by some members that this area
<br />was too great, that it prohibi.ted small e¢aterprises.. Mro Masorn said that
<br />everyone who know what they were doitig and wese authorities on this sub ject
<br />had sttadied this questioca and recommended it as presented and he felt that
