Mr. Sloaa then requested that it be presented in the Minutes, that the reasoa he voted as he did was so that this section conld be changed if necessar3r. Mr. Peterson, having been asked to look-at the culverts on Glenview, said that he had personally inspected this area; that there was a bump in the road over the culvert not caused bq f rost but by the fact that the.culvert not being entirely compacted had settled. Mr. Peterson said that this was a slow,traff ic street and nothing should-be doae.at preseMt bnt later £ill;ia . around the eulve=ty that the culvert,had not gone up but the adjacent area, , had-,gone-down; that the only thing to do now was to get ashphalt in June, that nothing should be done nntil next year., _. Mr.:.Belzer then.brought„up ;the question of odors on• Beechhill and asked about. the chemicals that were.put ia the sewage treatment. Mr. Shaw said that some chlorinated benzines were used. Mr. Peterson said;that Mr. Shaw should discuss_this.matter,with.,him and,Mr. Puszinski. ,. Mr. Wedler, reportingf or the Fiaance Coumittee, said that they haa found the Pay Ordinance to be ia order except for.Warrant No.: 6386._ . It was then moved by Mr. Wedler, seeonded by Mr. Bennett, that Paq Ordinance No. 471-P be approved and passed as read with the exceptioa of Warratit No. 6386. Roll Call; Ayes - Mrssrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason,,Sluan.& Belzer. Nays - None. . . . Motion carsied Pay Ordinance Passed -Mayor Endress -then. asked about the plans for water on SOM -eeater.. -.Mr; Edelman said-that we were not quite ready to,go and Mr. Peterson said.that he had'plans and specifications which were not quite complete; that there was. still some field work to do but would be able to have.these plans.f or;the next meeting beeause they had gone that far and then there will be a certain amount of legal work as to the new State 1aw as to assessments. Mr. Peterson then reported that he had received the plans of the - sidewalks under the Freeway Bridge from the,state and then presented these plans to Gouncil. Ms.-Peterson said that•he would,now have the sidewalk figares for Council for the next meeting.. . . Mr. Edelman then reported that he had receined a check in the amount of $891.54 in payment of assesgments for. certain years on.Parce:l!,No, 831-34-31 on Worton Park Boalevard. - Mr, Benaett, seconded by Mre Belzer, then introduced Resolution.No. 554 entitled; "A Resolution to Cancel the Installments of Water Main Assessments for Certain Years oa Parcel No. 831-34-31..on.Worton Park Boulevard•", which resolution was read to Couneil. .. ,... . . .. . . . , . .
