<br />SOM Center South of Wilson Mills Road; West side of SOM Road from Wilson
<br />Mills Road Southerly as indicated in red on their print of drawing No. 6480,
<br />sheet_2 of 3, dated March 28, 1957, revised August 21, 1963, and for a gas
<br />main and service between sidewalk and curb on the North side_ of Walnut Drive

<br />Nir. Belzer, reporting for the Safety and Service Committee, said that
<br />they had met on Novembef 4, 1963, and spoke of the fact tha-t Mr. Wieland
<br />needed a truck f or road work and snow plowing. Mr. Belzer said that the
<br />Safety Committee recommended tlzat this truck be purchased.
<br />, It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mre Bennett, that Council
<br />advertise for bids for a tsuck f or the 5ervice Department, with a sttow plow.

<br />Mr. Belzer then reported that Chief Porter had asked_per,mission to
<br />check with Chesterland Fire Department to see if they could use one of the
<br />two radios taken from the £ire trucksy the other to be used in the patrol
<br />car, which would save a$25e00 per month rental fee. The Safety Committee
<br />then recommended that the two radios be sold to Chesterland for $600.00
<br />or one radio sold to Chesterland and the other installed in the patrol car
<br />and iE Chesterland did not purchase the second_.r.a.d3o it,,could., be put to use
<br />in the Police or Fire Departments. A
