F.B.I. National Academy', which ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of law <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three.separate occasions be suspendedm <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moyed by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mra Shaw, that Ordinance No. <br />840 be approved and passed as read. Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />. Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Sloan was then asked about the subject of water on Ridgebury <br />Boulevard and Mr. Sloan said that he did not.have the authority to do anything; <br />that he had called upon one person and asked him to see Mr. Peterson. The <br />Mayor then asked Mr. Weiss to have a report f or Council upon this matter f or <br />the next meeting and also asked Mr. Sloan to contact the people on Ridgebury <br />Boulevard. Mr. Rogers, the Treasurer, said that Mayfield Heights had no <br />objection.to our tying into their main; that'.Mr. Dillon is the man to see <br />in Mayfield Heights. Mayor Endress then said that he was appointint Mr. <br />Sloan as a Committee of one to see this thing through. <br />Mr. Belzer then brought up the matter of the Gas 8tation on the cor•ner <br />of SOM and_Seneca Roads. Mr. Edelman said that the State Law only applies <br />outside the municipalities on junk pard shielding. Mr. Belzer then said that <br />we should ask f or some kind of a fence which could not be seen through. <br />Mayor Endress then said that we should 'have an ordinarice calling foran <br />8 f oot f ence there to screen the station. Mr. Belzer then asked for an ordinance <br />similar to the State Zaw and Nir. Edelman said that he would have one prepared <br />f or the next meeting. <br />.. _ _ ? . <br />Mayor Endress then reported that we had received a report from, the Liquor <br />Board on the License request f or'liquor permits in our village and that they <br />had recommended that this request be reEused. Mr. Edelman then explained <br />that they now had ten days to file an,objection; that he did not know whether <br />they would do this; that in the event that no bbjection was filed,_.the refusal <br />to grant these permits became effective. Mr. Edelman said that under the new <br />law we will be notified when this comes up to the courts, if it does, riayor <br />Endress then advised Mr. Edelman not to let anything slip through'oh this <br />request. - <br /> Mayor Endress then advised Council that he had a letter of resignation <br /> f rom a member of the Fire <br />16 years, a Mr. William G Department, one of the men who has been <br />ura. Mayor Endress then read his letter a member f or <br />of resignation <br /> to Council and said that he had moved out of the Village; that he was kept on. <br /> because he was available in the daytime; that he would recomnend that the <br /> resignation be accepted. It was then moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, <br /> that this resignation be accepted with regret. <br />3.
