' Mr. Shaw then reported that the Finance Committee recommended that we <br />purchase a new police car and keep the old one instead ot turning it in. Mr. <br />Shaw, seconded by Mr, Mason, then introduced Ordinance-No. 360 entitled: "An <br />Ordinance to Purchase a New Police Automobile from Newman Pontiac, Inc. <br />which ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. L]alker, that the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on-three separate occasions be <br />suspended. <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, WaLker, Nlason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />M otion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Orclinance No. <br />860 be approved and passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaia, Bennett, Walker, Maso'n, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Orclinance Passed <br />Mr. Walker, reporting for t'he WelPare Comnrittee, said that there was <br />nothing to report. Mayor Endress then reported that he had a request for a <br />Bus Shelter and wondered if anything could be done, that, he understood the <br />CTS put up shelters on"request. Mayor Endress then'turned this matter over <br />to the Welfare Committee to work on. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded,by Mr. Belzer, then introduced Ordinance No. 861 <br />entitled; "An Ordinance Giving the Consent of The Village of Nlayfield to the <br />Removal of Snow and Ice From Certain Roads Within the Village",- wh'ich ordinance <br />was read to Council. <br />It was moved-by Mr. IvIasott, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the rules of law <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Niessrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Plays - None. <br />• • Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />-It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mre Mason, that Ordinance No. <br />861 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - rSessrs Shaw, Bennett, Wallcer, NIason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />- Niotion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />3.
