' Mr. Shaw then reported that the Finance Committee recommended that we purchase a new police car and keep the old one instead ot turning it in. Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr, Mason, then introduced Ordinance-No. 360 entitled: "An Ordinance to Purchase a New Police Automobile from Newman Pontiac, Inc. which ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. L]alker, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on-three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, WaLker, Nlason, Sloan & Belzer. Nays - None. M otion carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Orclinance No. 860 be approved and passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaia, Bennett, Walker, Maso'n, Sloan & Belzer. Nays - None. Motion carried Orclinance Passed Mr. Walker, reporting for t'he WelPare Comnrittee, said that there was nothing to report. Mayor Endress then reported that he had a request for a Bus Shelter and wondered if anything could be done, that, he understood the CTS put up shelters on"request. Mayor Endress then'turned this matter over to the Welfare Committee to work on. Mr. Shaw, seconded,by Mr. Belzer, then introduced Ordinance No. 861 entitled; "An Ordinance Giving the Consent of The Village of Nlayfield to the Removal of Snow and Ice From Certain Roads Within the Village",- wh'ich ordinance was read to Council. It was moved-by Mr. IvIasott, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Niessrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer.
