Mr. Bennett and Mr. Flynn attend the Volunteer Firemen's Dependants Funding. Committee's ,.,annual ..meeting. on. March 7.,. 19,79. Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola.reported on the meeting held on March.l5, 1979. Only three items.were up for feview. Council of Councils - Mrs. Hanus reported on the meeting of February 28th . Guest speaker was Matthew Hatchadori`an who gave quite -an informative talk on what. goes on..in Columbus.. Nex.t.meeting.will.be held at the Beachwood City.Hall. Planning & Zoning - Mrs. Hanus said th.erevawas.nothing more to report, Mr. Amendola had covered every.thing,. ,. ,. 5Yie would bike to.me'ntion that she had three calls .this, week. from members° of the~.Historical Society, who".are upset ,and sh.e. would_ like to know .why. Public Service & Public Utilities - No Report Mayor Beebe stated that he:had.a meeting. with Irene Meden,, Pat Negrelli and Nancy Plastine arid. had discussed a letter he had written suggest- ing...the.Historical. Society ,consider .meet.ing o.ccasionall_y at the other municipalities who have community.rooms.. He. was. under the. impression tYiis was satisfactory and then at the Wednesday night meeting everyone was upset and felt they were. being evicted. This was no t. the .intent. This is a place for bu.sines's meetings and the facilities`are not e~ large enough. to handle. large. groups .. He gets .numerous calls .requesting the use of .the Village Hall for various functions and. has to .turn them down. He agrees that the Village should have a meeting place so no._one has to be turned away. Mrs.... Hanus said the Garden Club meets here and Piave. contributed much to the Community and the Historical Society has some. very old members who will get confused and upset`if they 'have to go somewhere else.
