Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Copies will be circulated after amendments are made. Ordinance 79-35, entitled:: "AN .ORDINANE.FIXING THE COMPENSATIONS AND BONDS OF THE VARIOUS ELECTED OFFICIALS OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE OHIO, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NUMBERS 76-29 and 75-19, AND DECLARING AN EMER- GENCY." Introduced by Council as a Whole. Mr. Flynn, seconded: by. Mr. Bennett, made a motion to suspend .the . rules of law requiring an~.ordinance to be read three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYE5: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Mr. Bennett stated that this was the first time the Committee had discussions.with .the employees re. their wage increase and lie felt it had been:~very fruitful with a lot accomplished. He is looking forward to doing it again. Mr. Busa, on belilf of all of .Council, expressed appreciations for the work done by the Committee. Mr. Relic stated that-bids had been opened at Noon on Friday, June. 15, 1979 for the rubbish contract and the results were: B.F.I. - $4.00 per home,' Village Disposal - $4.00 per. home and Tri-County Service - $5.25 per `home. He requested Council to consider awarding the contract. Mr:~ Amendola stated that. 'sti'le bid: was based on ~ 1100 _homes.~ . The Mayor.. had .requested that the ordinance covering the contract.include pro- visipns for rubbish pick-up on holidays .(pick-up,would be the following day after thy. holiday) . Charlie .Shiffer' s past .record speaks. for itself and recommended that the contract be awarded to him... Mr. Relic agreed that the excellent,.service provided from Mr. Shiffer for years :past speaks. for itself.
