:s <br />Ordinance 79-36, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIr~ <br />OFlVILLAGE DISPOSAL AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR. RUBBISH PICK-UP." <br />Introduced by Council as a Whale. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mrs. Ha~nus, made a motion to suspend the rules. <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />1 <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to pass Ordinance -79-36. <br />Mr.. Grogan questioned the length of the contract. <br />Mr. Bennett said the -contract is for three years but .the amount could <br />go up in accordance wiith the quanti:~y of homes but the amount per ~- <br />home would stay at $4.00. He said that any problems thatooccured <br />with the rubbish pick-up (which were minor in nature) had been correct- <br />ed ~ immediately ~ve~a ~if i~t meant. Charlie coming out on a weekend or . <br />holiday. <br />Mr. Flynn questioned the amount of increase over his previous contract. <br />M.r_-. Amendola stated. that this was the first increase in six years. <br />Mro Hovancsek commented that the dumping facilities has tripled in~ <br />the last six month~l and may double in the next year. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Relic informed Council that C.E.I. has been bil3ing them at the <br />old rate os well as the new. and asked if_Council would .consider paying <br />the bills at the old rate. <br />Mr. Flynn,, seconded by.Mr. Boger,_made a motion to authorize payment <br />of the undisputed amount. <br />Roll Call: .AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Ordinance 79-.37, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO ISSUE A NOTE IN <br />THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($600,000.00) IN <br />ANTICIPATEON OF THE ISSUANCE .TO BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING <br />FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCION OF A SERVICE B~~LDING.AND SITEIIMPROVEMENTS <br />~4;~3EREFORE."
