~: <br />Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read~on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />- Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to pass Resolution 79-52. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mayor Beebe questioned Mr. Barclay if the residents were interested in. <br />waiving the 10 day waiting period and/or the possibility of an increase <br />in the assessment. <br />Mr. Barclay clarified that it would be only the c~0 day .waiting period. <br />He requested a copy of the plans and specs to expedite matters. <br />Council agreed with the condition that the set be returned as soon as <br />possible. . <br />Mr. DeMarco stated that, he would object the project if the Village did <br />not do something with Mr. Simon, a contractor who built a.house next to <br />- his pond and broke the overflow pipe. Mr. Amendola had promised to~have <br />the problem .fixed and hasn't. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that he was aware of the problem ~:nd had .spoken with <br />Mr .. Simon and knew Gus had been doing some caark~ down there. Apparently <br />the. location is between two houses and the work~has to be done by hand or <br />by using very small equipment. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that it could be a private matter between t~7o neighbors <br />and he would have .to checlc the situation out with Mr. Amendola. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that Steve and Gus-have .been worlcing on this and will <br />ask for an update report for Mr. DeMarco. If it is a Village responsibility, <br />we will get it fixed.; if it .is a private .matter, the Village will no't get <br />involved any further. <br />Mr. Busa expressed concern that this not be a condition to the paving <br />work and hold up progress. <br />Ordinance 79-43; entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY BY THE ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 138 OF THE CODTirIED <br />ORDINANCE." Introduced-by Mr. Boger,. seconded by Mrs. H~anus <br />Mr. Boger, made a motion .that the ordinance be tabled until the ru:ext <br />regular Council Meeting. ' <br />
