~~ <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported on the meeting of <br />August 16th. A major item covered at the meeting had been the approval <br />of a change in the Office Building on Beta Drive by removing the exterior <br />balcony and adding an elevator inside. <br />Cemetery - Miss Trask reported that the Trustee had met last month with <br />Mr. & Mrs. Krause to tour the Mayfield Union Cemetery and she was surprised <br />of the history that the cemetery carries. <br />Council of Councils=- Mrs. Hanus reported that a summer gathering would be <br />held on Wednesday, August 22nd at 6:00 P.M. for Council and their wives. <br />It is a bring .your own lunch affair. Howard Metzenbaum will be the speaker <br />at the Richmond Heights Kawanis Lodge. <br />Board of Appeals - No meFti_nq. <br />Recreation/MARL - Miss Trask stated that the annual Halloween Party will be <br />in the Park on Saturday, October 27th . No extra monies were discussed. <br />Heinen's - Mr. Am:endo.la stated that.-the:co.olers are°being.installed.~:: <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Amendola and Mrs. Hanus reported on the meeting <br />held on August 13th. <br />Mr. Bennett questioned the condition of the grounds at the entrance to <br />Aintree North and if something couldn't be done about it. <br />Mayor Beebe agreed and stated that the service boys had done some mowing <br />and the Village billed the developer. Mr. Amendola was requested to contact <br />the developer and request additional landscaping be done or houses built. <br />OLD BUS INESS, <br />Or"dinance 79-57, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE DETERMINING TO PR~3CEED <br />WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF ECHO DRIVE BY HAVING IT REPAVED AND REDITCHED." <br />Introduced by Mr. Boger <br />Discussion was held with Mr. Avery clarifying that the 14 day time limit <br />for objection to assessment would be up on August 22nd. If any objections <br />are raised between now and then, Ordinance 79-57 would be invalid. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />law ~equi_ring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />`NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Miss Trask made a motion to pass Ordinance 79-57. <br />
