(~ <br />Mr. Grogan asked where is the ordinance that is being discussed? <br />R <br />Mayor Beebe said he had requested the Law Director to bring a copy <br />of University Heights' ordinance so that the subject might be dis- <br />cussed and if Council is agreeable, an ordinance could be drafted <br />off this sample ordinance. He would circulate the ordinance. <br />Mr. Beatty questioned if the Police. anticipated a drag in other areas <br />of the Police duties with the addition of this system. <br />Mr. Flynn said he wouldn't want the Department to be be overloaded. <br />~: Smith stated that it would help the,_Department by eliminating <br />phone calls. <br />Mr. Bennett questioned if the figure of $10.00 a month would be both <br />for fire and robbery. <br />Mr. Avery stated that it would be two separate charges. <br />Discussion was held on residential vs commercial fees. It was decided <br />that there would be two classifications (1) residential and (2) non- <br />residen ti al. General opinion was a fee of $10.00 residential and $30 <br />non-residential. <br />Mayor Beebe suggested that due to the immediate need for the bank at <br />Heinen's tYiat action be taken as soon as possible. <br />Mr. Avery stated that in lieu of cable vision going in, that a clause <br />be inserted in the ordinance to cover any matter that might arise. <br />Mr. Bennett questioned the ordinance needing updating. <br />Mr. Avery stated that the ordinance has been very effective. <br />Mr. Bennett asked if additional help would be required for billing <br />purposes. <br />Mr. Beatty replied no as billing could be done twice a year in advance <br />and if any need arose for penalties or failure to pay, it would be <br />simply a matter of discontinuing service. <br />Sgt. Smith to contact Clark Electric and collect any data that the <br />Law Department might need to draft an ordinance which is to be ready <br />for discussion at the next meeting. <br />BEECH HILL PUMPING STATION <br />Ma~Yor Beebe said he had notified Council of the meeting of the Northeas <br />Ohio Regional Sewer District at 2:00 P.M. in the Commissioners Chambers <br />at~the County Administration Building. He said we would be foolish if <br />we didn't do anything to halt any construction that would effect the <br />Pumping Station. He asked who would_be at that meeting and if a mor a- <br />
