- 3- <br />A letter was read by Mayor Leech from the L.N. Gross Co., <br />Beta Dr. requesting a 6 month trial period for a retail store to be <br />opened on Saturday and Sunday only. An Ordinance is in effect pro- <br />hibiting retail sale in the Industrial Park. It was recommended <br />by the Planning & Zoning Commission to deny their request. Council <br />indicated their agreement to Planning & Zonings decision and Mayor <br />Leech stated he would write L.N. Gross Co. and deny the request. <br />Mayor Leech recommended that the Village remain a member of the <br />Regional Planning Commission in 1975 and Council agreed. The <br />fee is $532 per year. <br />The Mayor questioned Mr. Relic regarding the Federal Revenue <br />Sharing Fund. Mr. Relic replied that we have received payment for <br />the second quarter. <br />Mayor Leech advised the Council that the ~ A.M. to 6 A.M. parking <br />ban is to be enforced throughout the Village. <br />Mayor Leech reported that Mr. Barclay is reworking the Sign <br />Ordinance and will have it ready shortly. <br />He also reminded the Villagers to use Mayfield Village in the proper <br />space when applying for license registration, so that the Village <br />will receive the $5.00 tax portion of the registration fee. <br />The Mayor stated that the Citizens Advisory Board will meet on <br />April 7, 1975. <br />Mayor Leech advised the Council that Councilwoman Negrelli volun- <br />teered to head up the Bi-Centennial Committee. The Mayor urged <br />residents to contact Mrs. Negrelli if they are interested in <br />helping her. <br />The Mayor suggested a meeting with store owners to help promote <br />a general clean-up of business areas in the Village. <br />Mayor Leech advised the "Amended Off Street Parking Ordinance" <br />75-9, is scheduled for Public Hearing, April 7, 1975. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Ordinance 74-42, entitled; "AUXILIARY POLICE RULES". It is now <br />being retyped for review by Chief Shortle and will be presented at <br />the next meeting. <br />Ordinance , entitled; "RECREATION BOARD". This ordinance is <br />being rewritten and will be presented at the next meeting. <br />Resolution , entitled; "WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT", this issued <br />is still pending in the courts and until resolved, the Mayor will <br />keep us informed of progress. <br />
