P' ~ _~ -2- Mrs. Fitzgerald - b9g0 Wilson Mills Rd., complained about the overflow from se~,~er lines going through the stream along the side of her home and overflowing onto her driveway. She said that the water level ~1~as about 15" deep in her drive tonight. Problem seems to be worse on tti~eekends and holidays if there is a rain storm. Mr. Hovancsek said he has made arrangements to meet with the Cleveland Regional Sewer District regarding secaer lines on Wilson Mills and Beech Hi11 Pumping Station. He advised that the stream does have all kinds of debris in it stopping the flow of water. ~ - Several questions were asked by Council to Mr. Hovancsek pertain- ing to the drainage problem. Mr. Hovancsek stated he will try to have a complete report ready for Caucus on February 24th. There being no further discussion from the floor, that segment of the meeting concluded. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 19, 1976 Regular Council Meeting. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan, Mrs. Negrelli and Mr. Schulte NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Ma or's Comments: _._._sl_._ _ __~ ___.~.._.-..~ Mayor Beebe stated that he was fully aware of the flooding problem during the rain storm and urged Council to pass the resolution per- taining to the SOM Center Drainage Improvement in hopes of solfing the flooding problem along Hickory Hill. He also advised that he had talked to the Department of Transpor- tation regarding the widening of SOM Center from Sandalwood north to White Road. According to DOT, the widening vaill not be done for at least 5 to 10 years from now. The Mayor stated that we are in great need of a Safety Center and he will look into other means of financing the building other than additional taxing to the residents. He appointed the following to the Safety Center Committee: A11 Department Hec.ds Mr. Bennett Mr. Relic Mayor Beebe Mr. Barclay He would like to meet at the earliest possible date to discuss. Mayor Beebe asked Mr. John UJilson, appointed to the Architectural Review Board to come forward and be sworn in by Mr. Morrison. ' Mr. Wilson was then sworn in as a member of the Architectural Review Board.
