P' <br />~ _~ <br />-2- <br />Mrs. Fitzgerald - b9g0 Wilson Mills Rd., complained about the <br />overflow from se~,~er lines going through the stream along the <br />side of her home and overflowing onto her driveway. She said <br />that the water level ~1~as about 15" deep in her drive tonight. <br />Problem seems to be worse on tti~eekends and holidays if there is <br />a rain storm. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he has made arrangements to meet with the <br />Cleveland Regional Sewer District regarding secaer lines on <br />Wilson Mills and Beech Hi11 Pumping Station. He advised that <br />the stream does have all kinds of debris in it stopping the <br />flow of water. ~ - <br />Several questions were asked by Council to Mr. Hovancsek pertain- <br />ing to the drainage problem. Mr. Hovancsek stated he will try to <br />have a complete report ready for Caucus on February 24th. <br />There being no further discussion from the floor, that segment of <br />the meeting concluded. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to approve the <br />minutes of the January 19, 1976 Regular Council Meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Mr. Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Ma or's Comments: <br />_._._sl_._ _ __~ ___.~.._.-..~ <br />Mayor Beebe stated that he was fully aware of the flooding problem <br />during the rain storm and urged Council to pass the resolution per- <br />taining to the SOM Center Drainage Improvement in hopes of solfing <br />the flooding problem along Hickory Hill. <br />He also advised that he had talked to the Department of Transpor- <br />tation regarding the widening of SOM Center from Sandalwood north <br />to White Road. According to DOT, the widening vaill not be done <br />for at least 5 to 10 years from now. <br />The Mayor stated that we are in great need of a Safety Center and <br />he will look into other means of financing the building other than <br />additional taxing to the residents. He appointed the following <br />to the Safety Center Committee: <br />A11 Department Hec.ds Mr. Bennett <br />Mr. Relic Mayor Beebe <br />Mr. Barclay <br />He would like to meet at the earliest possible date to discuss. <br />Mayor Beebe asked Mr. John UJilson, appointed to the Architectural <br />Review Board to come forward and be sworn in by Mr. Morrison. ' <br />Mr. Wilson was then sworn in as a member of the Architectural <br />Review Board. <br />
