b ~ ~ -2- Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion to approve the minutes of the January 24, 1977 meeting. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and Schulte NAYS: None ABSTAIN: Messrs., Barclay and Bordonaro Motion Carried Minutes Approved MAYOR'S COMMENTS• Due to the absence of the Mayor, Mr. Amendola, Administrative Assistant read a statement dictated long distance by the Mayor earlier in the day. (Statement attached) COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS: Mr. Grogan stated that all Committees werec~working very well and urged the Public Service and Public Utilities Committee to try and move fast concerning the SOM Center drainage problem as it is tying up construc- tion in the Industrial Park - should be number one priority. Mr. Bennett questioned Mr. Campanella what did happen re the Upper View litigation? Mr. Campanella replied that the case was heard in the Court of Appeals and was dismissed, however the case can be pre- sented to the Supreme Court for a hearing only. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Budget/Appropriations - Mr. Bennett reported that no action will be taken at_this time re the Arco Property. The Committee will meet with Mr. Relic on Thursday, Feb. 24th at 7:30 P.M. Public Safety - No report from Mr. Flynn. Public Service & Public Utilities - Mr. Busa said that he will be setting up a meeting with Mr. Hovancsek. Architectural Review Board - Mr. Barclay read the minutes of the February 17th meeting. Cemetery - Mr. Bordonaro reported all is well. Council of Councils - Mr. Bordonaro reported that new officers were elected at the last meeting and he was elected Treasurer. The next meeting will be held February 23rd at 7:30 P.M. at the Lyndhurst City Hall. Planning & Zoning - Mr. Schulte read the minutes of the February 14th meeting. He suggested that the Law Director be present at the February 24 P&Z Workshop.
