~~ -3- MARC - Mr. Flynn advised that Bob Evans has been appointed to MARC along with Joyce Barclay. OLD BUSINESS: Ordinance 77-9, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 of ORDINANCE NO. 76-17, ADJUSTING THE ANNUAL SALARY OF CLERK DISPATCHER CL~'1SS A, CLERK DISPATCHER CLASS B, CREATING CLERK DISPATCHER CLASS C, AND PRE- SCRIBING SALARIES, RATES OF COMPENSATION, VACATION SCHEDULE AND OTHER BENEFITS FOR EA~IPLOYEES OF THE MUNICIPALITY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY". Ordinance 77-9 was given Second Reading. Ordinance 77-10, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 75-32, AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND PROCEDURE OF COUNCIL". Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn and Grogan NAYS: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro and Schulte 1 Five `votes required to suspend the rules. Motion Defeated Resolution 976, entitled; "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AND APPROVING PLANS FOR AN ADDITION BY ST~.NLEY AIR TOOL, DIVISION OF STANLEY UJORK5", was introduced by I~Ir. Barclay. Ordinance 77-10 ~:~as given Second Reading. Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to adopt Res. 976 as amended. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and Schulte NAYS: None NEt~J BUSINESS Mayor's appointment of Law Director. Niotion Carried Resolution Adopted Mayor Beebe reported that he has interviewed nine lawyers/law firms to date and has more to interview. Council has been advised and will continue -to be up-dated. He also stated that until such time a la~>> director is appointed our present law firm ~~ri11 continue with any litigation. Ordinance 77-14, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE CURRENT AND OTHER EXPENSES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO FOR THE YEAR 1977, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", was introduced by T~Ir. Bennett.
