~~~ <br /> <br />1 <br />Council of Councils: <br />Mrs. Hanus asked Mr. Bordonaro to comment on the meeting since she was <br />not able to attend. <br />Mr. Bordoanro stated the major subject of discussion was the Fire <br />Insurance Rate. He said Chief Hejcl had also attended. He said <br />the most significant point was that we as Council should not base <br />purchases on the rate it is given but on its merits. <br />Planning & Zoning: <br />Mrs. Hanus read the minutes of the meeting of April 10, 1978. <br />Board of Appeals: <br />Mr. Amendola stated a meeting will be held :on Tuesday, the 18th. The <br />only business will be the selection of a chairman for 1978. <br />Recreation: <br />Mr. Bennett had nothing to report. <br />MARC: <br />Mr. Bennett said a meeting will be held next Wednesday. <br />Heinen's Committee: <br />Mr. Amendola said the A.R.B. had approved the first floor foundation <br />so construction could commence. He had written a letter to Mr. Heinen <br />informing him of this and also asking him to forward a letter to verify <br />his paying for the widening of Aintree Park Drive. <br />Mr. Busa stated onceethe letter is received, the Village will commit <br />themselves for payment of the light. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Lander/Ridgebury Intersection: Mr. Hovancsek said_he had written the <br />County Engineer asking~i:f there will be additional right-of=way required <br />and has't received a reply. He hoped all information would be availab]e <br />and discussions held at the next Caucus meetings so final approval could <br />be given at the next Council Meeting in May. <br />Sidewalks & Lights on Beta Drive: Mr. Hovancsek said `it is still under <br />investigation. He had talked with the former Engineer in reference to <br />plans that show lights and sidewalks and according to him they are non- <br />existing. Mr. Hovancsek said he recalled plans being run off the original <br />linen in 1969. <br />Mr. Busa said he recalled more current plans showing these lights and <br />felt Mr. Peterson might be giving us the run around. <br />Mayor Beebe commented he recalled these plans also and asked Eloise to <br />check the minutes of 68, 69, and 70 to see if there was anything mentioned. <br />
