Estimated cost <br />is $35,000.00. - <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE - Mr. Bennett stated that only one bid wasr_re- <br />ceived. for $37,862.00 whicYi is above the budgeted amount. He had talked <br />with Mr. Relic and the extra funds weren't available..Chief Hejcl had <br />eliminated the four-wheel drive and the new figure is $33,062.00. <br />Mayor Beebe asked Chief H~ejcl to get the new figure in writing and to <br />give a brief description of the new vehicle. - <br />Chief Hejcl said basically it is a small rescue unit which will take the <br />place of two vehicles and still be as efficient and carry the same amount <br />of equipment as the Van. <br />Mr_. Flynn commented that the mini-pumper/Van would be most serviceable <br />since the Police assist in allrescues. <br />A motion was introduced with Mr. Planicka stating a Resolution was in <br />order as follows: <br />Resolution 78-].8, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION ACCEPTIDTG THE BID <br />OF THE ALLEGHENY FIRE EQUIPMENT COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $33,062,.00 FOR <br />A NEW FIRE VEHICLE AND AUTHORIZING THE .MAYOR AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO <br />ENTER INTO A CONTRACT", was introduced by Mr. Bordonaro and Mr. Bennett. <br />There was a discussion on the possible sale of the two vehicles besng <br />replaced. <br />Any monies received for these would be.pu.t.into the General Fund. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made a motion. to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Mot]?on Carried <br /> Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Bordonar_o,..made a motion i~o pass Res. 78-18. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried <br /> Resolution Passed <br />Mr® Amendola asked if a discussion of the Striping of the Streets was in <br />order? <br />
