~~r~ <br />1 <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motr.~on to amend the agenda. <br />Roll Call : AYES : All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Gar~ied <br />Agenda Amended <br />1 <br />Mr. Amendola stated that only one bid had been recieped and that was <br />from last years contractor, Robert 5zczepinski in the amount ~cof <br />$2,054.25 for Vi]_lage streets and $2.,069.00 for the County Roads. He <br />said a month of good weather has already been lost and asked Council <br />to approve th~sexpenditure. <br />Council discussed the pros and cons of accepting only part of the bid <br />with Council agreeing the Village would benefit most by signing a con- <br />tract for all the -work to be completed dtte to the safety factor. <br />Resolution 78-19, entitled: "AN EMERGENGY P.ESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID <br />OF ROBERT SZCZEPINSKI IN THE AMO ~_~ OF $2,054.25 FOR THE STRIPING OF <br />VILLAGE STREETS AND APPROXIMATELY $2,069.00 FOR THE STRIPING OF COUNTY <br />ROADS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TOENTER ID?TO A CON- <br />TRACT", was introduced by Mr. Bordonaro and Mr. Boger. <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occa- <br />sions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: ALL <br />NAG'S : None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rul~ess Suspended <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to pass Resolution <br />78-19. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Mr. Buses called a ten minute recess. <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br /> Meeting reconvened at 9:35 P.M. <br /> NEw BUSINESS: <br /> Ordinance 78-16, entitled: d1AN EMERGENCY ORDID?ANCE AUTHORIZING AND <br /> DIRECTING PAYYMENT FOR SERVICES TO JOSEPH TnTIECE AND MARTHA WIECE.'~, was <br /> introduced by Mr~, Bennett. <br /> Mr. Bennett, seco nded by Mr. Grogan, made a motion to suspend the rules <br /> of law requiring <br />Roll Call: AYES: andordinance to be read <br />All on three separate occasions. <br /> <br /> NAYS: None Motion Carried <br /> Rules Suspended <br />
