2U7, <br />Cemetery - Mr. Bordonaro absent <br />Council of Councils:- Mr. Grogan stated he had attended a meeting on <br />April 26th. Crysler Motor gave a presentation on their line of cars. <br />He said by 1980 all cars will be scaled down with less selection a- <br />vailable.. Another subject discussed at the .meeting was ordinanances <br />covering smoke dectectors since 1974. <br />Mr. Busa commented the general opinion of Council was not to join <br />the Regional Ambulance service as the service will be less than what <br />the Village now has and it~would cost more. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mrs. Hanus-read the minutes of May 8th with the <br />comment that Mr.HHarris, hersel-f and Mrs. Fitzgerald, would be walking <br />the Hanover Woods site. There was discussion of the enforcement of <br />the tree ordinance in the Hanover Developement. <br />Mr. Grogan questioned the Staking that has acaken place .on the adjacent <br />property to progressive Insurance. <br />Mr. Amendola arrived at this time, 8:35 PTm,M. <br />Mr. Busa-asked Mr. Amendola~to give a report of the discussion he had <br />just held with the residents. -. , <br />Mr. Amendola said he had been explaining .to the concerned residents of <br />Worton Park in re. to the parking lot expansion of Progressive Insurance <br />Company. He said the residents were,, questioning if the 90' buffer strip <br />would be left. He assured itL~~em it would and referred. further discussion <br />to the Workshop.Meeiting of P &BZ on the 25th. <br />Mr. Busa commended Mr. Amendola on his excellent handling of what could <br />have been a bad situation. <br />Architects~ral ReyiewwBoard - Mr. Amendola reported on the last meeting <br />of the Board having approved plans for construction for approximately <br />$2,160,000.00. <br />Board of Appeals.- Mr. Amendola said a meeting of the Board was held <br />with Ralph Green being selected as Chairman ~~rrthe.year. <br />Mayor Beebe asked Mr. Amendola to explain the tree ordinance as Mr. Boger <br />.and other members of Council had questioned the removal of the trees in <br />the proposed Hanover Woods Development. <br />Mr. Amendola ss.tated that as many trees would be saved as possible but <br />trees are not the consideration when house sites and road right-of-ways <br />are planned. <br />There was a thorough discussion on the problems that could arise from <br />this development in re to drainage and sewers. The main concern being <br />when a power failure occurs - what happens to the raw sewage. With the <br />added sewage from the Apts. in Mayfield Heights and this development, prob== <br />lems will arise. <br />
