~~ <br />Mr. Bennett was concerned with the overloading of the present system <br />at the Beech Hill Pumping Station. . <br />Council agreed that a full auxilliary power system be mandatory and <br />~. system installed~to pump the sewage to the million gallon holding <br />tank in case .of a breakdown before the Hanover Woods proposal is <br />given any further consideration. <br />Mr. Flynn suggested the possibliity of Parallel Lines or Separate Force <br />Mains. -. <br />Mr. Hovancsek to correspond with the Sewer .District on this and have a <br />report for dis~eussion at the next Caucus. <br />Recreation-- Mr. Bennett said the summer program is ready to roll: <br />MARC - No Report. <br />Heinen Committee:- Mr. Amendola commented the bulldozer was delivered <br />to the site today and clearing would start as soon as weather permits. <br />He said the top soil has already been allocated and will be kept in <br />the Village. o <br />He said he had spoken with Mr. Heinen on the phone quoting the lowest, <br />acceptable bid for the widening of Aintree Park Drive in the amount of <br />$31,730.00 and he has verbally agreed to pay. <br />NIr. Busa questioned the estimated completion date on the store and Mr. <br />Amendola replied it would most likely be opened after the holidays - <br />approximately nine months. <br />OLD BUSINESS- <br />Af.ntree Park Drive Modification: Mr. Hovancsek stated bids were received <br />last Friday with recommendation that the bid of A & J Cement Contractors <br />for $31,730.00 be accepted. - <br />RESOLUTION:78-26, entitled: "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF A & J <br />CEMENT CONTRACTORS FOR THE AINTREE PARK DIRVE.PAVING, AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO ENDER INTO A CONTRACT AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY", was introduced by Mr. Boger. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mrs. Hanus,lmade a motion to suspend the rules of <br />law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. - <br />Roll Call: AYES:. All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />' Rules Suspended <br />Mr.~_Flynn, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made the motion to pass Resolution <br />78-26. <br />Mr. Bennett suggested that the resolution be given a first reading <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
