Mayfield Heights
and Highland Heights thought that Mayfield Village might give
some consideration to removing the lighting assessment. Mr.
Relic stated that he did not like to set a precedent by removal
of the Lighting Assessment but if Council were in agreement,
the annual contribution from the Village fir the cemetery could
be increased to $350.00. Mr. Busa felt that all communities
should pay equal shares. This matter was referred to the Budget
&. Appropriations Committee.
Council of Councils - Mr. Grogan said that on June 28th the Fire
Chief from Upper Arlington will talk on their United for Safety
~ Program in Central Ohio. Mr. Grogan reported a negative feeling
towards the County Council of Councils group formed in Orange.

i
n-l-unnr-.g--and Zoning Commission:- The Commission granted approval
of the parking lot requested by Progressive Insurance Company on
the condition they comply with the 12 point site modification asked
for by our Engineer.
Mr. Anthony DiSanto did not contact the P & Z Commission any further,
so the proposal for the Racquet Ball Facility on Beta Drive in the
basement of the building that is located across from the Holiday Inn
has been dropped.
Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola reported that a meeting will be held
on June 20, 1978 ath 7:30 P.M.
Recreation - Mr. Bennett reported the summer program is progressing.
Fill dirt from Heinen's has been used to fill behind the ball diamond.
at Clear Acres. Will set up a meeting in July with Mr. Schmidt.
Formation - New Land Committee - Since we are in the process of ob-
taining property other than the Village Hall, Mr. Busa wondered if a
committee should be formed to look after it. The Mayor reported that
Mr. Amendola has been repairing the bridge etc. Mr. Grogan thought
Council as a Whole shou~~.d be involved in overseeing acquired properties.
Mr. Relic suggested the Committee be called "Park Acquisition & De-
velopment Committee."
