A <br />letter had been received from Copper & Associates regarding an Office <br />Warehouse for Beta Drive. Drawings will be reviewed at the workshop. <br />Board of Appeals: Mr. Amendola reported on the meeting held on 6/20/78 <br />with regard to an appeal made by Don Ray Products. The appeal was de- <br />nied by a three to one vote. Another meeting is scheduled for July 18th <br />for a request for a variance for a construction on a property line. <br />MARL: Nothing to report. <br />Recreation: Mr. Bennett said he would check into the situation of the <br />missing umpires. <br />Mayor Beebe commented that he had quite a few balloon cards returned <br />and so far the first to have been found was on July 4th at 4:36 P.M. <br />Heinen's Committee: Mr. Amendola said he had received a letter of com- <br />mitment for the widening of Aintree Park Drive from Mr. Heinen and had <br />circulated it to Council. <br />Mr. Boger questioned if this included the Engineer's fee? Mr. Amendola <br />replied that it did and Mr. Heinen would be reimbursing the Village for <br />monies paid to Mr. Hovancsek. <br />Mr. Busa questioned the opening date and Mr. Amendola replied that it <br />isn't anticipated before Easter. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Flood Control - S.O.M. Center Road - Discussion will be held in Executive <br />Session. <br />Paving of Villag_e Hall Parking Lot - Mr. Hovancsek reported that he had <br />spoken with the contractor and they were hoping to have asphalt down <br />sometime this week and the job completed by the end of the month. <br />Mr. Busa cautioned them on the possibility of water getting into the <br />Police Department in re to the drain in the front. <br />Mr. Boger questioned if the entrance to the buildings could be done <br />first so the equipment could be taken in out of the weather.
