Hanus <br />NAYS: None ~ Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />PASS: Mr. Bennett <br />Mr. Bennett,'seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made the motion to approve the <br />minutes of the Special Meeting of Council of September 26, 1978, as <br />amended. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Llayor's Comments: <br />Mayor Beebe asked Mr. Feneli to give the oath of office to Mr•. William <br />Crowley, of 1148 W ashingtom Blved., Mayfield Heights as a Volunteer Fire- <br />fighter. This will mace a total~of 24. <br />Mayor Beebe announced the Halloween activities planned by the Recreation <br />Department and those of r'1~ayfield Heights. He read a Proclamation covering <br />both communities and asked Council for approval. <br />He announced that the children from the Center School had toured the <br />Fire Department and rr.~~a will be coming next wee]c. The children had <br />written thank you notes to the Fire Department and he showed several <br />of the drawings which he will be posting in the Council~•:Chambers along <br />with the letter he received from Chief Hejcl. <br />Council President's Comments: <br />Mr. Buses said he would be out of town and asked Mr. Grogan to chair the <br />next Caucus Meeting and take his place at the Heinen's Committee Meeting <br />scheduled tomorrow night. <br />Committee Reports: <br />Budget/Appropriations - Mr. Bennett said the Committee is wor]cing with <br />the Law Director to prepare legislation regarding the Auxiliary Police <br />Uniforms. - <br />Public S afety - Mr. Flynn said he was pleased to see the bisibility cleared <br />at Raliegh Drive and th~ariked~Crief Litman. <br />Public Service and Public Utilities - Mr. =Flynn said there was nothing to <br />report but Mr. Amendola would ~_i]~e to hold a discussion on the Municipal <br />Center in an Executive Session this evening. <br />Architectrual Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported two meetings. were <br />held with plans approved at an approximate value of $145,000.00 <br /> <br />
