Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Leech, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions: Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. $oger, Bordonaro, Braun, Davis, Leech and Schmidt. NEY.3: None. Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrm Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Leech, moved that Resolution #817 be approv- ed and passed as read. Rol1 Call: AYES: Messrs. Motion Carried Resolution Adopted Re-c,ycling Paper/Bottles: Because we might be competive with the church across the street and others it was decided not to get involved in this program. Mr. Fitz-Gerald was asked to appear at the next Safety and Service Committee meeting relative to glass bottle collection. O.rdinance Review Committee: An ordinance will be brought up and present- ed at council but not acted upon but turned back to the Ordinance Review Committee and then brought up for acceptance or rejection. Mr. Grogan will get the ordinance before it is approved. Balluster Buff(er): Mayor Beebe stated that old Centre School needs some helping hands. On a winter day with ice and snow on this treacherous narrow winding road, hundreds of cars stopping and skidding could block traffic and create a world record traffic jam. F4zrther, any emergency vehicl.e would have a difficult time getting near an accident or answering any other emer- gency calls in the whole area.
