Mr. Schmidt replied "No." <br />NELJ BUSINESS : <br />Pro ressive Tnsurance Plans: Eleven questions, in Councilman Boger's letter <br />of May , were answered in Mr. Ha.viland's letters of May 8, plus phone con- <br />versations. Discussion followed <br />and it was reported by Progressive Company that in order not to have politi- <br />cal repercussions, the county commissioners requested a letter to state <br />that we have no objections to them. Mayor Beebe stated that there wi.ll be <br />a follow-up letter on the percentages and rewriting paragraph 4. Mr. Boger, <br />seconded by Mr. Leech, made a motion to write a letter to the Cuyahaga <br />Caunty Commissioners stating that we have no objections to Progressive In.- <br />surance Company locating in our village. A letter from the company disclaims a <br />business tie-in. Discussion brou.ght out Mr. Boger's statement that we <br />should get an opinion from the people. Mr. Leech stated that there may be <br />competitors. Nir. Davis would like to meet with this company to hear what <br />they have to say. Mayor Beebe summed it up as a question of aesthetics <br />and need and we shall pursue it further with a meetinge <br />Ma.yfield Recreation Park: Nlr. $raun stated facilities will have to be <br />louilt to meet our growth needs. They have made land studies and found <br />a very reasonable tract of 38 acres. People wil2 be sent a survey letter <br />including a return addressed post card for an opinion.
