-8- <br />share cost of a traffic signal on Miner Road, our cost to be about $850.00 <br />The two lights would be up to-1974 standards and compatible to existing <br />system. . . <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced the following Resolution, <br />entitled;"RESOLVED THAT THE VILLAGE OF MAYF=ELD PAY ONE-HALF OE THE COST <br />OF A SIGNAL CONTROL SYSTEM AT MINER ROAD. THE OTHER HALF TO BE PAID BY <br />THE CITY OF HIGHLAND HEIGHTS." <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Braun, motioned to suspend the rules requiring <br />a Resolution be read on three occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, <br />Davis.y and. Leech . <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Braun, motioned to adopt Resolution. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, <br />. • Davis, and Leech • <br />• NAYS: None _ Motion Carried <br />- Resolution Adopted <br />Comment from the floor: Mrs. Ruth Gi11is, 6180 Wilson Mills Road: "Why <br />light on Wilson Mi11s by school always on caution, thus hampering getting <br />out of driveways onto the street?" Mr. Hovancsek replied the school had <br />originally installed the light to prevent cars from making lefthand turns <br />but have subsequently made the island thus negating the need for the light. <br />State law requires a dead light to be either left on caution or.covered <br />with a burlap bag. <br />New Business: <br />The Mayor mentioned preliminary approval for an additional nine holes <br />to the Parkview Golf Course as presented to the Planning & Zoni.ng Commission <br />by Pat and Dick Leconte. <br />Safety and Service has recommended the purchase of a service truck for <br />the Service Department. <br />Mr. Boger,.seconded by Mr. Davis, motioned bids be advertised for the <br />purchase of a service truck for the Service Department as per specifications <br />to be submitted by Mr. D'Agosti.no. , <br />Roll Call: AYES: <br />NAYS: <br />Messrs.
