^ .y °`r- on i he ?uilsiing' Code Appeals Board"o OLD BtTSINESS: Engineer Hovancsek reported he had drawn a map of the proposed site for a bicycle path along S.O.M. Center Road going North from Sanda1- wood to the Metro Park. The total estimated cost would be $30,000;' however, 50% of those monies could be reimbursed to the Village frorn the IYepartment of Natural Resources if our application were approved. Mr. Hovancsek stated there were no federal matching funds available'' in 1974, but the Village could submit the proposal to Regional Plann- ing and then file an application. Mro Relic questioned the cost of the preliminary planning required just to submit a proposal to which Mrm flovancsek replied the map was done, the further data to be fur- n3.shed would cost about $3,000. Mr,. Hovancsek concluded that to sub- mit preliminary plans, most of which he has prepared, would cost $100. Council agreed Frank Prager should seek out further information. Mr. Byrnes reported on the Aintree Park street lighting by advising Squires, Sanders, & Dempsey had approved the- Zegal fomn of the assessment, and a petition to be signed by the property owners in Aintree relating to the installation of post-top street lamps was nece5s,ary. He furthEx stated Mr._Hovancsek had checked the permanent paxcels and street addresses. Mr. Ficken, an Aintree resident, wauld circulate the petition for signatures. No action to be taken by the Council at this time. After the petition has been campletely siyned, it will be presented to Council for a Reso].ution. ` Mr. Prager advised on the status of the recreational vehicle ordinance. ; He said after many sessions a draft was now ready for presentation to the new Legislation Committee. Mr. Hova,xicsek stated construction had begun on the Beech Hill pump station and would continue to watch its proqress. Mayor Leech asked specifically to check our roads for damage as we had just repaired same. Mr. Hovancsek stated we did have an $8,000 road bond covering any damage incurred.
