<br />^ .y <br />°`r- <br />on i he ?uilsiing' Code Appeals Board"o OLD BtTSINESS: <br /> <br />Engineer Hovancsek reported he had drawn a map of the proposed site <br />for a bicycle path along S.O.M. Center Road going North from Sanda1- <br />wood to the Metro Park. The total estimated cost would be $30,000;' <br />however, 50% of those monies could be reimbursed to the Village frorn <br />the IYepartment of Natural Resources if our application were approved. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated there were no federal matching funds available'' <br />in 1974, but the Village could submit the proposal to Regional Plann- <br />ing and then file an application. Mro Relic questioned the cost of <br />the preliminary planning required just to submit a proposal to which <br />Mrm flovancsek replied the map was done, the further data to be fur- <br />n3.shed would cost about $3,000. Mr,. Hovancsek concluded that to sub- <br />mit preliminary plans, most of which he has prepared, would cost $100. <br />Council agreed Frank Prager should seek out further information. <br />Mr. Byrnes reported on the Aintree Park street lighting by advising <br />Squires, Sanders, & Dempsey had approved the- Zegal fomn of the <br />assessment, and a petition to be signed by the property owners in <br />Aintree relating to the installation of post-top street lamps was <br />nece5s,ary. He furthEx stated Mr._Hovancsek had checked the permanent <br />paxcels and street addresses. Mr. Ficken, an Aintree resident, wauld <br />circulate the petition for signatures. No action to be taken by the <br />Council at this time. After the petition has been campletely siyned, <br />it will be presented to Council for a Reso].ution. <br />` Mr. Prager advised on the status of the recreational vehicle ordinance. <br />; He said after many sessions a draft was now ready for presentation <br />to the new Legislation Committee. <br />Mr. Hova,xicsek stated construction had begun on the Beech Hill pump <br />station and would continue to watch its proqress. Mayor Leech asked <br />specifically to check our roads for damage as we had just repaired <br />same.
