The Mayor reminded all that the Village does have a"no burning" ' <br />Ordinance in conjunction with the State statute. The rubbish collector, <br />Mr. Shiffer, will take anything over the normal load for $5.00 an'd <br />to call the Vil].age hall to make arrangements. - <br />The Mayor suggested all residents take advantage of volunteer house <br />3raspections by the Fire Department. ' <br />He said on another notei we do have a weed Ordinance that prov3.des <br />we can cut weeds on vacant property if they become a problem and <br />?`access the property owner. He added the weed Ordinance did need <br />updating and appointed-,Mrs. Negrelli and Mr: Prager as a committee <br />to study Ordinance 69-34 on same.. <br />. The Mayor, then advised one of -°the- fire, engi.nes is 17 years old with <br />a life expectency of 20 years.. Approximately. every four years our <br />Fire Department is rated for insurance purposes and the deteriorating <br />equipment will affect our rating thus increasing the overall Village <br />t?.
