It was noted because of the bankruptcy of the <br />leasing firm the Village had to arrange to purchase the vehicle prior to <br />passage of this ordinance. <br />rlra Hovancsek stated OBT had requested permission for an underground conduit <br />from Lander on the south side to Wilson Mills with one spur off Miner to <br />Alpha. He added on behalf of the Village he had requested some changes and <br />OBT complied with same. OBT agreed to replace any trees disturbed and to <br />repair tree lawns. Mrm Bennett asked who was responsible for the right of <br />way;the Village or the County, to which Mr. Hovancsek replied the Village. <br />Mr. Schulte, seconded by Mr. -_?-Bordonaro, made a motion to grant OBT permission <br />to install underground conduit lines pursuant to plans approved by the Engineer <br />and Building Commissioner. <br />Roll Call: Ayes: All <br />Nays: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported on the traffic signalization for Wilson Mills Road. <br />He stated about five years ago, the Village and Highland :_Heights realized <br />the problem and 1wd a study made. Both communities applied for and were <br />granted a fund from the $5.00 license tags to apply towards the cost. The <br />County agreed to pay 100 % of the construction cost for the synchronization <br />of traffic. Engineer and inspection fees will be paid by the Village to the <br />Engineers involved, Wm. Jackman & Associates. Our cost to be about $8,000 <br />and any underground utilities disrupted will be our liability, although most <br />of the work will be above ground. <br />Mr. Relic advised about $10,000 was allocated in the budget for this <br />expenditure. <br />Ordinance 74-51; entitled, " AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF A <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND <br />DECL'A:RING AN EMERGENCY " was introduced by Mr. Schulte. <br />_ _4_
