Comella, introduced Ordinance PIo. 69-10, entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Sections 30.4, 30.5 and 30.6 of Ordinance No. 763, as Amended by Ordinance No. 1000, with Respect to Area Regulations, Yard Regulations and Off- Street Parking and Loading Regulations in Production-Distribution Districts, Office- Laboratory Districts, and Motor Service Districts," which Ordinance was read to Council. Council, by unanimous affirmative vote, set April 14, 1969, at 8:30 p.m., as the date and time for Public Hearing at the Village Hall on proposed Ordinance No. 69-10. Safety and Service Committee - PIr. Schmidt. 11r. Schmidt read the Iiinutes of the February 3, 1969 meeting. He discussed the Garbage and Rubbish Picle=Up Contract of Mr. Charles Shiffer, and will confirm at the next meeting. The residents of Beecher`s Brook met and discussed the possibility of obtaining city water and sanitary sewers. PIr. Caplan would not split the cost. Chief Shortle will look into the matter of a recommended warning device at the intersection of Thornapple and SOM Center Road. It was recommended that Electrical and Plumbing Inspectors be employed for inspection when needed. The additional cost will be included in the permit of the Builder. This recommenda- tion will be studied further by Safety and Service Committee. Building and Service Department - Mr. D'Agostino. He reported the erecting of street signs; new salt spreader is in use and hot water has been installed in the wash rooms. The Clerk-Treasurer filed a tabulation of bids received for the purchase of $16,800.00 Special Assessment Bonds for the Worton Parl: Drive Paving Improvement. t~ir. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by iIr. Comella; introduced Resolution No. 755, entitled: "A Resolution Accepting the Highest Bid for $16,800.00 Special Assessment Bonds upon the Lowest Rate of Interest by a Responsible Bidder.'.' Mr. Comella, seconded by P4r. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the rules of law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasion s be suspended. Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - liessrs .
