He discussed the <br />Garbage and Rubbish Picle=Up Contract of Mr. Charles Shiffer, and will confirm at <br />the next meeting. The residents of Beecher`s Brook met and discussed the <br />possibility of obtaining city water and sanitary sewers. PIr. Caplan would not <br />split the cost. Chief Shortle will look into the matter of a recommended warning <br />device at the intersection of Thornapple and SOM Center Road. It was recommended <br />that Electrical and Plumbing Inspectors be employed for inspection when needed. <br />The additional cost will be included in the permit of the Builder. This recommenda- <br />tion will be studied further by Safety and Service Committee. <br />Building and Service Department - Mr. D'Agostino. <br />He reported the erecting of street signs; new salt spreader is in use and hot <br />water has been installed in the wash rooms. <br />The Clerk-Treasurer filed a tabulation of bids received for the purchase of <br />$16,800.00 Special Assessment Bonds for the Worton Parl: Drive Paving Improvement. <br />t~ir. Comella; introduced Resolution No. 755, entitled: <br />"A Resolution Accepting the Highest Bid for $16,800.00 Special Assessment Bonds upon <br />the Lowest Rate of Interest by a Responsible Bidder.'.' <br /> Mr. Comella, seconded by P4r.
