Poll Call: Ayes - Diessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, and Davis. Plays - None. Fire Department - Captain E. Whiteman. 6. Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt Diotion Carried. _ Resolution Passed. Captain Whiteman reported in the absence of Chief Hejcl for the month of January. Police Department - Police Chief Shortle. Chief Shortle gave a report for the month of January. It was noted that the number of burglaries had increased. Village Engineer - Mr. Hovancsek. He thanked the Aiayor and Council for the appointment. He will call for Ordinances on regard to new construction, and will give report before the next meeting. Village Solicitor - Mr. Edelman. No further report. Clerk-Treasurer - Mr. Lockemer. He reported the need of funds until tax money is available. D4r. Davis, seconded by P4r. Comella, introduced a Resolution, numbered 756, entitled: "A Resolution Requesting the County Auditor to Advance the Sum of $20,000.00 to the Village of P~Iayfield out of Current Tax Collections." Dir. Comella, seconded by i~ir. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried. Rules Suspended. Mr. Comella, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Resolution No. 756 be approved and adopted as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - Done. Motion Carried. Resolution Adopted. Council President Pro Tem - Dir. Davis. He discussed the need for a new police cruiser. Mr. Sctmiidt, seconded by Nir. Comella, made a motion to advertise for bids for a new police car. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried.
