Relic reported that he is closing an account of :652.29 <br />for Worton Park, Phase 2 development, and transferring the <br />money to the bond retirement fund; and that some of the <br />X19,000.00 village hall rebuilding costs may have to come <br />out of the general fund. <br />George 'vJeiland: itIr. Fitz-Gerald asked the assemblage to <br />pause for a few brief words relating to the passing of i'~ir. <br />George Weiland and stated with bowed heads: "let us remem= <br />ber tonight and record in our Council Minutes the name of <br />I~Zr. George Udeiland who died this past week. He was among <br />the oldest residents of our village and contributed much to <br />it. During his lifetime he served as Service Director and <br />Building Inspector. He was active in the Grange and the <br />annual minstrel shows. He was the father of three sons and <br />a daughter, the daughter being the wife of lair. Lester Foltz, <br />another faithful employee of our village. To Mrs. Weiland <br />and her family we offer our condolences and good wishes." <br />~1r. Edelman noted that former Councilman Hartman of May- <br />field Village recently passed away. <br />
