<br />59 <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler said they met on the first Thursday of this month. <br />They are preparing for their annual track meet and art show. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said they met last Monday. Mr. <br />Feneli and Mr. Amendola went over some of the Planning and 7.oning code. <br />Mr. Feneli said that following that meeting he sent a letter to the Engineer <br />requesting his input`on certain topics. As soon as he receives the replies <br />from the engineer, he and Council will review them. Once those 2-3 issues <br />are resolved, that portion of the code update will be completed. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the commission met on April 6. Two <br />lot splits were approved, (one on Echo, one on SOM.) <br />Recreation - There was no repott since Councilman Petschauer was absent. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said they did not have a quorum. Acting <br />Fire Chief Dave Mohr and he went over some items which he would like to <br />review at some time in Executive Session. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Progressive Drive Relocation - Mayor Carmen said this issue is sti11 to be <br />discussed. <br />Planning Consultant - Mr. Feneli said Council should have received copies <br />of that correspondence. Meetings with possible consultants are set up at <br />8 p.m., 8:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. on May 4. He said he will be contacting <br />Mr. Armstrong'after he returns from Italy. <br />Hanus Drainage Problem - Mr. Feneli said he and Mr. Amendola met with Mr. <br />Piunno. They made several proposals about how to.gain access.to.Mr. <br />Piunno's property. Mr. Piunno was concerned about how the Village would <br />protect his property from damage. He is supposed to contact Mr. Amendola <br />when he reaches a decision. <br />Mr. Etzler said this issue was brought up several years ago. He cited th.e <br />other plans that had been considered. He feels that we are at a point now <br />where something must be done and the necessary a,ction should be taken to'. <br />avoid further delays in solving the problems. <br />Mayor Carmen suggested that Mr. Piunno be advised that he has_two weeks to <br />agree to our plan. If we have not reached an agreement with him at that <br />time, we will have to take the necessary action to obtain a right-of-entry. <br />Further discussion was held about what work would be done on the property; <br />whether or not the tree would have to be removed, etc. <br />Mayor Carmen and.Council agreed that the Law Director should send a letter <br />to Mr. Piunno giving a deadline for reply of May 4. Since Mr. Hovancsek. <br />will be present at that time, the details of what exactly will be done can <br />be resolved at that time. <br />Front Row Traffic - Mayor Carmen said the Village is paying'50% of the cost <br />of overhead signs to assist with this problem. We are waiting on the signs <br />to arrive.
