86 <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said there was no meeting; <br />no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - There was no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Basile said only three people showed up <br />for the last meeting. They needed Mr. Amendola's input so they were not <br />able to hold the meeting. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met June lst. He said <br />Mr..Hovancsek had reported that the road crews had just about completed <br />cutting out.the road and the service crews would be starting in about two <br />weeks (Hanover Woods - Phase II.) Mr. Basile said that Pizzazz restaurant <br />is in the process of being remodeled. Mr. Basile asked M'r. Amendola.'if <br />they have done any of the drawings for Pizzazz. <br />Mr. Amendola reported that the electrician has started work and they are <br />making changes that we have required. The capacity of the restaurant is <br />going to be 40 seats. Before anything goes up, there must be 20 parking <br />spaces in the yard; otherwise it will have to stop there. <br />A very brief discussion was held. <br />Mr. Amendola said space will be provided for the living quarters upstairs. <br />A letter was received from. the property next door that they wi11 allow the <br />employees of Pizzazz to use their parking space after hours. <br />Discussion was held regarding Fisher's Tavern. <br />Mr. Amendola said they plan to put a mound in front of the railroad ties <br />which will prohibit anyone from parking there. <br />Mr. Basile said cars were parking in front over the weekend. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Feneli to check into the propriety of declaring that <br />unsafe and a no-parking zone. <br />Mr. Amendola is to check to see if it has changed owners. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer said there were three major areas of concern <br />at their May meeting: <br />1) The 1987 Softball Season. The Recreation Board has secured an <br />independent outside system for field maintenance. <br />2) The second annual raffle will be held in conjunction with <br />Village Days. Mr. Petschauer announced the prizes. <br />3) Registration for the Summer Playground Program began today. <br />Mayor Camren said he wouTd like to praise Jane Petschauer., Recreation <br />Director, for doing a terrific job on Recreation. More new programs have <br />been starting this year. Services being offered by Recreation are being <br />-upgraded. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said there_was no meeting required this <br />montli. .
