R? <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Progressive Drive - Mayor Carmen said a.meeting was held last Friday, but <br />he has not yet received a report. <br />Hanus Drainage - Mr. Feneli said he has signed rights of entry from the <br />Strunks and Piunnos and work will begin tomorrow morning. <br />Mr. Amendola said the County ran a test on the Hanus proegrty and have <br />asked them to dig up the line at the ditch. Mr. Hanus told him that he <br />would not do that. They are beginning tomorrow and doing the work according <br />to the drawing from the Engineer. <br />Front Row Traffic - Mayor Carmen said there was no report. <br />Jefferson Buildings Sign - Mr. Feneli said he and Mr. Amendola met last week. ' <br />Mr. Amendola said the Planning and Zoning Commissiori approved the site plan <br />for two signs to be placed on the property in May, 1985. The new sign <br />ordinance was not passed until 1986. Everything was followed the way things <br />were at that time. . . <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mayor Carmen. suggested incJ_uding this itein on the agenda for the Jsly 6 <br />Special Meeting/Caucus. A decision cou.ld be r,iade at.that time. <br />Aintree North Sub-Division Drainage - Mayor Carmen explained that due to the. <br />last.heavy rain, the residents have decided.that they want it to proceed. <br />However, other issues need addressed. He needs a letter from Mr. Courtney <br />that there will be only a temporary siltation problem as a result of the <br />Widening and deepening of the channei. He also asked that they continue <br />the fence to the Kotoch property.. They are also supposed to put boulders <br />in place to slow the veloeity of the water flow. He said that once these <br />items are taken care of, the Aintree North widening can begin. Mr. <br />Caticchio has been told exactly what must be done in order to proceed. <br />Cotton Property - Mr. Amendola said that as soon as the Hanua job is <br />completed, tliey will begin the work on the Cotton property. <br />Bike Path,-Mr. Ba.sile:.said.the.bike path has already been started. Mayor <br />Carmen..said..the bike path.was initiaTly going:to go from the Metro Parlc to <br />Whitehaven Cemetery. There was alrea.dy a bike path from Whitehaven Cemetery <br />to Sandalwood. He said that through Mr. Amendola's good efforts, the , <br />contractor agreed to redo that portion of the bike path for $1,400. For <br />about $2,600 he wi11 do the portion from Sandalwood to Wilson Mills Road. <br />He said for 'about $4,000 we will be able to have a fine bike path tY:at will <br />go from the Metro Park to Wilson Mills Road in place this year. <br />Mr. Petschauer asked Chief Stevens to.have-the Police Department.watch for <br />trucks and cars that are parking on the bike path. <br />Arco Property - Mayor Carmen reported that a bid was received for the side- <br />walk work to be done which was under $2,500... He approved it and authorized <br />the woxk-to be done.
