88 <br />Pancake Breakfast - Mr. Basile said we did not make as much profit,this year, <br />but a coffeepot was purchased, and there was alot of items left over that <br />will be used next year. He.gave Council a copy of the inventory list. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 87-4, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />1(A) (2) OF ORDINANCE N0. 85-27 PERTAINING TO WAGES,'BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS <br />AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES OF MAYFIELD VZLLAGE, OHIO, SO AS TO <br />PROVIDE ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICERS WHO HAVE EMT, <br />EMT-A, OR EMT-P CERTIFICATIONS, REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT <br />HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY," Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council <br />as a Whole. (First Reading 5/18/87) <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Harry Krause - Letter of Resignation - Mr. Basile said everyone received <br />a copy of his letter. <br />Mr. Feneli said the resignation becomes effective on the day he specifies <br />he's leaving. . <br />Computerization = Village Accounting Records - Mr. Patrick said this is <br />regarding Resolution No. 87-53. Council agreed to discuss this later. <br />Board of Health - Recertification of Private Home Sewage Systems - Mayor Carmen <br />said that everyone should have received a copy of.the letter of explanation <br />from the Board of Health regarding this new program. An article will appear <br />in the next issue of the Voice of the Village to inform the residents. <br /> <br />Brentwood Hospital - Re Graduation - EMT - EMT-p: Chief Mohr reported that <br />John Lisy wi11 be graduating. Motion to Approve the Purchase of Softball Shirts -(Recreation--Adlers--$2,500) <br />Mr. Goley, se'conded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to approve the punccase <br />of softball shirts by the Recreation Committee not to exceed $3,000. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motiori Carried <br />Purchase Approved <br />Wortbn Park Homes -.Mayor Carmen explained that this is tied in with the <br />Progressive Drive. The Police Department is monitoring the area to keep <br />vandals away. Mr. Basile said the ordinance and zoning violations will <br />be discussed a:t the next Caucus. <br />Resolution No. 87-35, entitled; "A RESOLUTION SLTPPORTING THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY <br />CHAPTER OF THE OHIO WATERFOWL ASSOCIATION AND THE LEAGUE OF OHIO SPORTSMEN IN <br />THEIR EFFORTS TO ESTABLISH A WETLAND WILDLIFE RESERVE-IN THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY <br />NATIONAL RECREATION AREA." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to ado,pt Resolution No. <br />87-35..
