<br /> <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />2/18/901 <br />Page Seven <br />Mr. Rinker said the Finance Committee recommends that this ordinance remain on first reading. <br />The Engineer and Finance Director must get together to discuss the fee structure and billing <br />procedure, so Ordinance No. 91-04 will remain on first reading. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 91-05, entitled; "An Ordinance amending Section 739.03 and <br />739.06 (b) of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, establishing a fee for certificate <br />of registration and hours of solicitation at private residences within the municipality, and declaring <br />an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a morion to enact Ordinance No. 91-05. <br />Mr. Ramos said that this ordinance replaces Ordinance No. 91-02 which was defeated. This <br />ordinance requires an application fee of $20. Tax exempt organizations such as churches do not <br />have to pay the application fee. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Resolurion No. 91-15, enritled; "A Resolution authorizing a change order for the <br />reconstruction of certain streets within the municipality and declaring an emergency." Introduced <br />by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Flynri, seconded by Mr. Pietrafese, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Pietrafese, made a morion to adopt Resolution No. 91-15. <br />Mr. Flynn asked why the legislation was needed. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained that the work was bid as a unit cost item and that areas of pavement had <br />to be removed and replaced and additional catch basins needed repair. He recommends that the bill <br />be paid. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted
