This will be done prior to the Council Meeting on March 18 so <br />Council can award the contract to D D D Enterprises for the original amount. <br />D D D Enterprises, in the interim, will be ordering supplies for the project and will be in a position <br />to start the repairs on Tuesday, March 19. <br />Mrs. Mills questioned if there was a possibility that the Commissioners will delay or reject this for <br />any reason. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that no they would not as it is a hazard to the people and they could could be <br />sued should someone get hurt. Also, the money involved is not something they would have to <br />submit to the Budget Commission for review so he did not anricipate any delays. <br />Mr. Rinker questioned the safety of the area. Mr. Hovancsek stated that addirional flashers should be put in the area. <br />Mr. Amendola to follow through. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that he had also spoken to Lou Marino, the Developer of Village Trails, and <br />there is no problem with giving the Village the right of entry. The Village will have to formally <br />accept the easement. <br />Discussion was held and Mr. Rinker asked that two things be on the agenda for Monday night; <br />formal acceptance of the easement and the resolution for the County Commissioners. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES : All <br />NAYS : None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mr. Rinker asked Mr. Ramos to r,ead the title of Ordinance 91-06 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 91-06, enritled; "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCII. TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH <br />HAIVIILTON INSUR.ANCE AGENCIES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY-TWO DOLLARS ($3,142.00) FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF POLICE PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR MAYFIELD VII,LAGE, OHIO, <br />FOR TBE PERIOD COMMENCING MARCH 16, 1991 AND TERMINATING JULY 1, 1991, <br />SUSPENDING TIHE COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENT OF SECTION 123.02 <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VII.LAGE, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Enrire Council. <br />Mr. Patrick stated that the reason the rime frame is so short is because he is trying to have all <br />insurance premiums come due at the same time. The Village will then be in a position to put the <br />insurance out for bid with the exceprion for the employee hospitalization. He would appreciate <br />passage this evening. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a morion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
