?? <br />Regulaz Council Meeting <br />3/18/91 <br />Page Five <br />Ordinance Review Committee - The next meeting will be on March 27. <br />Water District Committee - Mr. Rinker said the committee held one meeting. <br />Planning and Zoning,- Mr. Basile said the commission met on March 4. The Panzica Proposal will <br />be refened to the April meering. The parking variance for Progressive was passed. <br />Recreation - Mr. Pietrafese reviewed the meering of February 20. He said that Mayor Carmen and <br />Donna Heath attended their meeting and discussed the band concerts and fireworks plans. Softball <br />registrarion will be held March 20 from 7- 8:30 p.m. Mr. Pietrafese said they received a letter <br />from the Hudacko family about the scholarship fund being limited to Village residents. They felt it <br />should be open to non-residents as well. Mr. Pietrafese reported that the Easter Party will be held <br />this Saturday at noon. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco said the committee met March 4. She said they discussed the <br />CSX program and the Service Department has requested some equipment this year. She said she <br />would like to amend the agenda to discuss these items under new business. " <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />First Reading of Resolurion 91-30, entided: "A Resolution declaring an emergency and authorizing <br />the acceptance of an inforrnal bid from General Electric Supply Company for the purchase of halide <br />floodlights for the Wiley Park baseball field." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />Resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />- Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution 91-30. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked when they would start with the lighting. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said as soon as the poles are received. <br />Mark Fixler said it will take about 12 weeks. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the poles will be ordered tomorrow after the legislation is passed. At that <br />point the contract will move forward. He said it is the same contractor who did the fields in <br />Highland Heights. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted
