??. <br />I <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />5/20/91 <br />Page Nine <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 91-19, entided; "An ordinance enacting new Section 521.08 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, pertaining to littering and deposit of waste materials, <br />repealing existing Section 521.08 and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Basile made a motion to enact Ordinance 91-19. <br />Mr. Flynn commented he felt the ordinance should have been more honed in on owners of <br />dumpsters. He recommended that labels with the ordinance number be made available for anyone <br />who wants to attach the label to their dumpster. Mr. Flynn said he would like to have this <br />mentioned in the legislation. <br />Mayor Carmen said the Village could find a resource for the labels and.let the.residents lrnow <br />where they aze available and their cost. <br />After discussion, Council determined that Ordinance 91-19 would remain on first reading. <br />Accordingly, Mrs.lVlills, seconded by Mr. Basile, withdrew their motion to pass Ordinance 91-19. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 91-20, enrided; "An ordinance amending Chapter 1173 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, pertaining to office-laboratory use and area <br />regularions in the Production-Distribution District repealing all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. - <br />Mr. Ramos explained that this ordinance is in response to Mr. Hovancsek and Mr. Amendola's <br />request regarding the producrion-distribution area where they have had problems with building and <br />parking use. This ordinance must be referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission, it must <br />have 3 separate readings, have a Public Hearing, and go to a vote of the people in November. <br />Ordinance No. 91-20 placed on first reading. <br />Mr. Rinker said at this time we need a motion to amend the agenda to hire the firem of Mansour, <br />Gavin, Gerlack & Manos Co., LPA to represent the Village regarding the Parkview Golf Course <br />litigation. <br />Mrs.Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda to include Ordinance No. <br />91-21 regarding the hire of Mansour, Gavin, Gerlack & Manos to represent the Village in the <br />Parkview Golf Course litigarion. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />.
