? 02 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/17/91 <br />Page Four <br />Board of Apneals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting this month. <br />Cemeterv = Mrs. Cinco said the tree service work for $500 has been completed. <br />Cirizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Pietrafese said the next meeting will be Monday, 7une 24. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said the Senior Gentry went on a bus tour to Oberlin and <br />Wellington. They had a very nice time. They are still having picnics and bocce. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the Committee met this evening. They are asking the Law <br />Director to prepare a resolution for the next meeting regarding Ameritrust. As soon as the bids for <br />the concrete streets are received they would like to hold a special meeting; they would also like to <br />tie in the Hickory Hill project with that project. The committee recommends that Council move <br />ahead with the following resolutions: 91-52, 91-53, 91-54, 91-55. They are asking for additional <br />information for Resolution No. 91-56--they want to be sure of the type of coverage. <br />Mr. Basile suggested passing Resolurion No. 91-56 on the contingency of receiving the <br />informatione <br />Mr. Flynn said the committee agreed to pass the legislation on that condition. <br />IVIr. Flynn said the committee recornmends moving ahead with the following resolutions: 91-57, <br />91-58, 91-59, 91-60. <br />They aze asking the Finance Director and Chief Mohr to talk about Resolution 91-601ater. <br />Mr. Flynn said they received the Fiscal Officer's Certificate regarding the proposed bond sale. Mr. <br />Patrick has asked that we accept this before action is taken on the ordinance. The committee asks <br />that Council move ahead with the ordinance. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said that they met June 8. Lee Fisher and Stephanie <br />Tubbs Jones were guest speakers. Contents of their speeches are included in the minutes which <br />were sent to everyone. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said that work on the historical building is concentrated on the <br />memorial brick walk. Eighty-five percent of the walk has been placed. A security system is being <br />installed. Their annual ice cream social and quilt raffle will be held September 11. <br />Mrs. Cinco reported that over 50 children are interested in signing up for the "Learn to Swim" <br />program so there will will be a program. She explained that if there are over 50 children in the , <br />program, we will have the pool for two hours. The program will be four days a week for five <br />weeks. Mrs. Cinco said the cost per child will be about $37 which is an excellent deal. <br />Ordinance Review- Mr. Rinker said they rnet with Dave Pyzoha from U.R.S. and asked for an <br />update as far as coordinating with Dick Kerver from Metro Park. Mr. Hovancsek is waiting for <br />word from the Boazd. They have tentarively talked about having word next week; he will check <br />with the Boazd then.
