<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/17/91 <br />Page Five <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he met with Dave Pyzoha this afternoon. They are looking for data on the <br />storm sewers. The data in the Issue 2 Book was helpful and he will be working on it. He is <br />worldng on loading the computer with a lot of data. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the management charge will determine what monies will be available for <br />capital improvement. He anticipates having it ready next week. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met June 3. A lot split was approved for <br />Mr. Wellman. Ordinance No. 91-21 will be taken up at the Workshop meering. Mr. Amendola <br />said the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends that Council grant variances on the six- <br />month extension for the sign at the Mayfield United Methodist Church. The recommend Council <br />approve the variance for the sign at the SOM/Sand Plaza and for Pizzazz. <br />Mr. Rinker asked how many they had not heard from to date. <br />Mr. Amendola said he thought there were about 5. They will be discussing four of the five at the <br />workshop meeting Thursday. <br />Mr. Ramos said he talked to Fisher's Tavern this afternoon and advised them that ignoring the <br />problem will not make it go away. If they feel they have a hardship with the sign, he asked them <br />to contact the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mrs. Mills reported that Mr. Schulte went to the Cleveland Clinic Friday and may need a heart <br />catheterization in July. <br />Recreation -Mr. Pietrafese said the Recreation Board meets this Wednesday. Fliers were <br />distributed for the 5-mile race. Michelle Cirino is the summer playground chairman. The "Learn <br />the Swim Program" is pushing toward 50 people. Mr. Pietrafese said we have the benches in at <br />Center School thanks to Gus. The inaugurarion of the lights is tonight. He said the Boazd has a <br />new member, George Phillips. <br />Mr. Phillips was in the audience. Mayor Carmen administered the oath of office to George Phillips <br />as a member of the Mayfield Village Recrearion Board. <br />N[rs. Mills said that Carrie Hoehnen was the recipient from the High School for the first award. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met June 3. The committee recommends the purchase of <br />a 6' trailer and the lane change on Wilson Mills south to S.O.M. Mike Girbino is now a certified <br />sprinkler examiner. <br />LD BUSINESS <br />- Mr. <br />Patrick explained that the letter must be accepted before passage of the legislation. <br />Mr. Pietrafese, seconded by Mr. Fenante, made a morion to approve the letter from the Finance <br />Director dated 6/10/91 regarding the proposed bond sale.
