152 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />8/19/91 <br />Page Four <br />Mrs. Cinco suggested that Council approve the proposal for the right-turn lane. <br />Mr. Ramos suggested that since the amount of the contract is unknown at this time, that Council <br />make the motion not to exceed $5,000. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a morion to approve an expenditure not to exceed <br />$5,000 for the construction of a right-turn lane on S.O.M. Center Road. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />OLD BU5INESS: <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 91-20, enritled; " An ordinance amending Chapter 1173 of the <br />Codif'ied Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, pertaining to office - laboratory use and area <br />regulations in the production-distribution district and repealing all ordinances inconsistent <br />herewith." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 5/20/9, Second <br />Reading & amended 6/17/91, Public Hearing 8/5/91) <br />Mr. Ramos explained that this ordinance should remain on second reading. Since the ordinance <br />was amended after the second reading, it must be given another second reading. He said that the <br />ordinance must be placed on third reading at a Special Council Meeting to be held sometime within <br />the next two weeks. <br />Council determined that the Special Meeting would be held on Wednesday, August 28, at <br />7:30 p.m. prior to the Ordinance Review Committee Meeting. <br />Mr. Pietrafese said he would like to thank Mr. Patrick for coming up with the financial report for <br />the Pancake Breakfast. He was happy to see there was a positive cash flow. <br />EW BUSINE <br />First Readin,g of Ordinance No. 91-36, enritled; " An ordinance establishing and defining a <br />government fund accounting structure for Mayfield Village, Ohio, and declaring an emergency." <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a morion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three sepazate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 91-36. <br />Mr. Patrick said this is meant to put the Village in compliance with what is required on the National <br />level and he suggests that Council pass the ordinance.
