She said the <br />Halloween Party begins at 3:30 p.m. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco will give this report at a later date. <br />Water District Committee - Mrs. Mills said there was no meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Sidewalk Uj2date - Mr. Hovancsek said that he and Gus met with the contractor. The contractor <br />has saw-cut most of the sidewalks. He is complering concrete work in Euclid this week and plans <br />to start concrete work in the Village on Monday. He should be complete our contract by <br />November 10. <br />Mr. Rinker said he wants to follow through and make sure he does a good job. <br />Mayor Carmen asked if we have told people we expect the work to begin Moniiay. <br />Mr. Amendola said the people who have called have been told work will start this Monday. <br />He will contact the others to advise them. <br />Mr. Rinker said he felt another letter should be sent to confirm the arrangements. <br />Mr. Ramos will send a letter as a follow-up. <br />Second Readiniz of Ordinance No 91-40, entitled; "An ordinance amending Sections 1183.02(a) <br />and 1183.19(fl pertaining to the standards of off-street parking spaces and declaring an <br />emergency." (First Reading 8/19/91, Second Reading & Tabled 9/16/91, Amended 10/21/91) <br />Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ramos said a morion by Council to amend this ordinance is needed. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to amend Ordinance No. 91-40. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carrieci <br />Ordinance Amended <br />NEW BUSINE <br />Prog_ressive - Mr. Hovancsek said he recommends that another secrion be included in the ordinance <br />designating categories for purposes of modifying parking spaces. Tighter parking spaces would <br />be allowed for employees who are working 8 hours a day. He thinks this could be added to the <br />ordinance without changing its general intent. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested this item be discussed in detail at the Ordinance Review Committee. He <br />requested that Mr. Hovancsek's proposal and the ordinance be sent to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission.
