<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Special Council Meeting <br />11/13/91 <br />Page Five <br />T'hird Reading of Ordinance No. 91-40, entitled; "An ordinance amending Sections 1183.02 (a) <br />and 1183.10(f) pertaining to the standards of off-street pazking spaces and declaring an <br />emergency." (First Reading 8/19/91, Second Reading & Tabled 9/16/91, Amended & Second <br />Reading again 10/21/91.) <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a morion to amend Ordinance No. 91-40. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None 1Vlotion Carried <br />Ordinance Amended <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a morion to suspend the'rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />_ Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a morion to enact Ordinance 91-40. <br />Mr. Ramos explained the amendment from the original ordinance. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if this affects drive lanes. <br />Mr. Ramos said no. He explained the second part is that parking spaces would be defined by a <br />double-painted line. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if the Planning and Zoning Commission was amenable to this arrangement. <br />Mr. Basile said yes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />ANY OTFER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mr. Rinker asked if there were any other matters before us--or anything regarding the Progressive <br />abatement request while they are here. <br />Mayor Cannen said he spoke with attorney Chris Swift of Baker-Hostetler who suggested the <br />creation of the legislation. Mayor Carmen said if Council is of a mind to grant an abatement he <br />would contact Eric Brown and Dr. Abbott of the Mayfield Ciry School Board He would meet <br />with them to discuss what the Village intends to do. He thinks they should try to resolve this as <br />soon as they can. , <br />Mrs. Mills asked if this was for a one-time 15-year abatement.
