195 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />11/18/91 <br />Page Three <br />Cirizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said they met October 28. They talked about <br />" Fisher's Tavern, recycling, lawn chemical spraying, municipal center, day camp, Mother's Day <br />Pancake Breakfast, Wiley, Worton Park turn lane, Progressive Insurance expansion, Village Trails <br />Update, and the Mayfield United Methodist Church parlang lot expansion. He said they were not <br />pleased that the trick-or-treat hours were not changed. ` <br />Commission on A ig,_ng - Mrs. Mills said about 170 people participated in the flu shot program. <br />There is an Amish Tour on November 13 and their Christmas party will be held in December. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the Finance Committee met this evening and recommend approval of the <br />following: Ordinance No. 91-47, Resolutions 91-88, 91-89, and 91-90. They would like part- <br />time employment to be discussed by the Ordinance Review Committee and possibly discuss the <br />abatement the same night; possibly having a Special Meeting. Mr. Flynn said they would like for <br />Ordinance 91-44 to be included in discussion on the Special Meeting night. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco gave an update on the work on the historical house. The Turkey <br />Raffle will be held this Saturday, November 23 in the Community Room. There will be a poduck <br />dinner on December 11 at 6:30 in the Community Room. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met November 11. Members requested that they receive timely <br />minutes so they can present their reports; they have not received them yet. Mrs. Cinco said they <br />received an update on program registrarion. <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Rinker said they did not meet this month. Mr. Rinker said Council may <br />need to hold a Special Meeting which would take priority over the Ordinance Review Committee. <br />He said they can look to the first or second week of December. He said he lrnows Mr. Ramos has <br />other items for the agenda. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if Department Heads would look through their things to see if there is anything <br />that needs to be cleared up by the end of the year. Then, the Ordinance Review Committee could <br />do some housekeeping and the items would be ready for the regular meeting in December. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met November 4. He cited the items on <br />the workshop agenda. The Commission recommends that approval be given from Council for the <br />final site plan submitted by Nacy Panzica. Mr. Basile said the Commission recommends that <br />Council give approval to Progressive for the 5' height variance; the parking ordinance has akeady <br />been changed. <br />Recrearion - Mr. Pietrafese said the Board met October 16. They talked about the volunteers <br />needed for the maze, the Craft Show is being held up until next year;: so is the baseball card show. <br />The Halloween Party was held on October 26. The Boazd talked about a 100 x 100 area for <br />playground equipment and there was some question about where that area would be. The Boazd <br />also talked about the Debbie Hudacko scholarship fund and the upcoming Christmas Party. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said the Committee met November 4. The main topic of <br />discussion was Ordinance No. 91-13. Regarding the exhaust system update, Ken Shrefler is <br />doing more research on on-site inspecrions. She asked if the radio system was in operation.
